Harassment is unwelcome behavior towards you. Unwanted behavior could include something like bullying, threats of violence, and agitation. Harassment can be gender-based and is not necessarily physical or sexual in nature. For example, receiving unwanted unpleasant text messages due to gender could count as harassment.
There are cases, however, where one person may say something that could be construed as a joke regardless of how funny it actually was after all, it’s different for everyone.
